Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
ReDesignFinance is a small business run by Kevin Loncosky in the United States. In this policy, "I" and "me" mean Kevin and ReDesignFinance. It explains what information is collected when you visit redesignfinance.net, buy a template or use one, and what happens to it.
The short version
- This website uses no cookies, analytics, ads or tracking.
- When you buy, Stripe handles the payment. I receive your name, email and what you bought, never your full card number.
- What you type into a template stays in your own copy. I can't see it.
- I never sell or rent your information.
When you visit this website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking, and it has no accounts or sign-in. I don't know who visits.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested, to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The site links to other services, such as Substack, YouTube, Instagram and Stripe. Once you follow a link, that service's own privacy policy applies. If a page shows Substack's sign-up box, it is provided by Substack, and what you enter in it goes to Substack.
When you buy a template
Checkout is run by Stripe. You give Stripe your name, email address and payment details, and it processes the payment, including fraud checks, under Stripe's privacy policy.
From Stripe, I receive:
- your name, email address, and the billing details you gave at checkout (such as your country and postal code);
- what you bought, the price, the date, and any discount code you used;
- limited card details: the card brand, last four digits and expiry date. I never see or store your full card number.
I use this to deliver your files and receipt, answer your questions, handle refunds, prevent fraud, and keep the records that tax and accounting laws require.
Discount codes from partners. If you use a code from someone who recommends my templates, I tell that partner how many sales used their code and the amounts, so I can pay their commission. I don't share your name or email address with them.
When you contact me
If you email me or reply to your receipt, I keep the conversation so I can help you. I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing because you wrote to me.
Inside the templates
- Google Sheets: "Make a copy" creates your own copy in your Google account. I can't see or open your copy or anything you type into it. Live prices come from Google Finance, which Google provides under its own privacy policy.
- Excel: the file lives on your computer. Live prices come from Microsoft 365, under Microsoft's privacy statement.
- Crypto Conviction Scorer: it runs entirely in your web browser. Your scores are saved only on your own device and are never sent to me or anyone else. Backup files are saved wherever you choose.
Substack
If you subscribe to my Substack, Substack collects your email address under its own privacy policy, and I can see the email addresses of my subscribers there. You can unsubscribe from any Substack email.
Who I share information with
Only those who help me run the business or whom the law requires:
- service providers: Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, and my email provider for messages;
- my accountant and tax authorities, for tax and accounting;
- authorities, when the law requires it;
- if ReDesignFinance is ever sold, the new owner, who must protect your information as this policy describes.
I never sell, rent or trade your information, and I don't share it for targeted advertising.
How long I keep it
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally up to seven years.
- Emails: until I no longer need them to help you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or ask for a copy. I'll reply within 30 days. I may need to keep purchase records that tax laws require, even if you ask me to delete them.
If you're in the EU or UK: I use your information to fulfil your purchase (a contract), to meet legal duties such as tax records, and for legitimate interests such as preventing fraud and answering your messages. You also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. Your information is processed in the United States.
If you're in California or another US state with a privacy law: I don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and I won't treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
Security
Payments are handled by Stripe, a certified payment processor, so card numbers never reach me. I take reasonable steps to protect the information I do keep, but no method of storing or sending information is completely secure.
Children
This website and the templates are not meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given me information, contact me and I'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
Contact
For any question about your information, or to use your rights above, contact me: reply to your receipt email, or send me a message on Substack.
